Tyax Camp - Gold Bridge BC

Wilderness Cabins BC

Are you looking to disconnect from the city and reconnect to nature and yourself?

Is it time to get out of the city and into true wilderness where you can recharge with nature’s energy?

Best for: Advanced bikers, hikers, and horseback riders

Flora, fauna and landscape: Black bears, mule deer, California Bighorn sheep and grizzly bears are drawn to the mineral springs and alpine basins. This camp is close to Castle Peak, Relay Mountain and Lorna Lake.

Camp: This authentic log cabin is located right beside Tyaughton Creek allowing easy access to pure mountain water. Hitching posts are located at camp and grassy meadows around the campground provide the perfect place to overnight your horses.

Unique features: Further from the main trails, this camp sees fewer visitors than some of our other areas, giving you a greater opportunity to explore the back-country, enjoying quiet and seclusion. Fish for trout in Tyaughton Creek. It’s also one stop on our Self Guided Cabin Circuit.

These are wilderness cabins, each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabin when they leave.
