With over 200 km of trails through the entire South Chilcotin  Mountain Park, picturesque mountain views and of course the lake itself, our Spruce Lake Mountain Lodge offers a scenic backdrop for the abundance of activities on offer for anyone travelling to the Bridge River Valley. Touted as some of the best hiking and mountain biking experiences in BC, the single-track trails accessible from the lodge enable all range of guests an opportunity to experience the beauty and wilderness of the South Chilcotin Mountain Park. If horseback riding is more your speed, we are able to accommodate all skill levels from beginner to advanced with our guided horseback rides and lessons leaving directly from the lodge. The Spruce Lake Mountain Lodge is also ideally located for those wishing to enjoy the spectacular fishing available on the lake, with all guests welcome to hire boating and fishing supplies during their stay.

The lodge is handcrafted from local fire burnt Spruce and boasts modest guest amenities, allowing even the most novice traveller to enjoy the remote beauty of the park. With both sub alpine and alpine meadows and surrounding mountain peaks, some people consider Spruce Lake to be the jewel in the crown of the South Chilcotin Mountain Park. Capitalizing on the secluded nature of the lake, guests’ access to the Mountain Lodge is predominantly via foot or by horse with trail head drop-offs and pick- ups available. Alternatively guests are able to engage our professional guide services and have their equipment transported to and from the lodge using our pack horses.

The South Chilcotin Mountain Park lies approximately 150 km north of Whistler and 95 km west of Lillooet. From Pemberton take the Hurley Pass to Gold Bridge or follow Hwy 40 along Carpenter Lake from Lillooet.
