A room in our historic lodge, your Canada guest ranch rental, provides the perfect wilderness experience. Each room in our historic lodge has a queen bed and some also have a single bed. These rooms are perfect for a solo traveller, couple or young family. Each room has its own private bathroom complete with shower and hot and cold running water. Rooms are stocked with bedding, towels, soap and shampoo.

For important information about getting here, visit our About Us page.

Unlike a hotel or more conventional rural accommodations, our rooms don’t come with Netflix! There’s no TV, no cell phone service and limited WiFi, allowing you to make the most of your time in the wilderness. The natural environment creates better entertainment than any television program. Depending on which room you stay in, you will enjoy views of the Bendor Range at sunrise and sunset, watch our chickens, goats, horses, dogs and cats mingling with the local mule deer as they roam across the yard and pastures, or maybe even spot a black bear coming to visit our apple trees! Each room has a Ranch Room Binder full of useful information including things to do, wildlife and wild plants guide and an overview of our conservation work in the Chilcotin Ark.

This all-inclusive package provides three meals per day where you will eat with our ranch community. Depending on the time of year of your visit, you will get to enjoy fresh produce from our garden, eggs from our chickens, fish from local lakes or other wild edibles harvested from the local area. Unlike in a restaurant, we don’t have a menu, sit down with us and enjoy family-style buffet dinners where we share stories of the day’s adventures or plans for the day.

Our historic ranch house rooms are the ideal accommodation if you are looking to connect with our ranch community and other guests. Join us in the living room, explore our library of wilderness lifestyle, local history and personal development books, visit our animals and watch the wildlife roam across the yard.

Not sure if our ranch rooms are the accommodation type you’re looking for? Have other questions? Head to our contact page to give us a call, we can answer any questions you might have.

From your Canada guest ranch rental you can ride, bike, fish or hike the Gun Creek and South Chilcotin Mountains Provincial Park area or visit local historic sites. Enjoy the break from WiFi, cell phone service and television and get involved with our ranch-based activities such as horseback riding, archery and hiking to make the most of your time at our BC horse ranch.
