Experience remote wilderness with a stay in our Grizzly Lake Camp

Located at the north end of the Shulaps Range, this little-known area is the perfect place to enjoy the quiet and seclusion of the wilderness.

Best for: Intermediate hikers and horse riders
Flora, fauna and landscape: This is the perfect opportunity to observe the annual mule deer migration to the Fraser River in the fall. Grizzly bears, black bears and mountain goats are also frequently seen in this area. A short hike or ride will take you into the alpine where you can see Grizzly Lake and Noaxe Lake in the Shulaps Mountain Range and all the way to Mount Sheba in the South Chilcotin Mountains Provincial Park.
Camp: Grizzly Lake Camp has a compact A-frame cabin which is equipped with a sleeping loft. There are hitching posts behind camp and a meadow to graze your horses. Drinking water is from a nearby spring. Outhouse, fire pit.
Unique features: As one of our most remote camps, Grizzly Lake Camp will immerse you in the backcountry wilderness experience of the Shulaps Mountain Range. Learn more about deer behaviour by witnessing the mule deer migration.

Grizzly Lake Camp is a wilderness cabin, each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabin when they leave. See our Mountain Cabin Facilities page for more details.
