Isolated Cabin

Are you looking to disconnect from the city and drink pure mountain water at Eldorado Camp?

Best for: Intermediate horse back riders, hikers, bikers, and back-country skiing

Flora, fauna and landscape: Mountain goat viewing – nannies and kids are frequently seen on the mountain slopes above camp. Mule deer, black bears and grizzly bears are also regularly seen in this area. Windy Pass, Taylor Basin, Pearson Basin, Eldorado Basin and Spruce Lake are within a day’s hike or ride.

Camp: Eldorado Camp is a 16×24 foot cabin with kitchen, dining and social areas and an upstairs communal sleeping area and wall tents provide plenty of space for a family or group of friends. Great back-country horse cabin – hitching posts and nearby meadows provide grazing for horses.

Unique features: This camp is ideally placed for access to the alpine for mountain goat viewing and backcountry skiing. Pure mountain glacial water is located close to camp from an alpine creek. It is also one stop on our Self Guided Cabin Circuit.

Eldorado Cabin is a wilderness cabin, each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabin when they leave.
