Flora, fauna and landscape: This area is the perfect place to watch grizzly bears feeding during May and June. There is abundant waterfowl around the mudflats and estuaries and other wildlife to scout for include moose, black bears and mule deer. Mount Sloan and Green Mountain are close by. Downton Lake and other smaller lakes are within easy access.

Camp: With only a tent, you will get closer to nature by sleeping under the stars.
