If you're looking for a more intimate connection with nature, check out our Wilderness & Western-Style Camping Package options! Located just north of Whistler and Pemberton and west of Lillooet, you'll be camping in the picturesque setting of the South Chilcotin Mountain Park, with views of the Gun Creek Valley and the amazing Chilcotin Mountains. Experience nature at its finest and get up close and personal with wildlife right on your doorstep.
Our Campsite options allow you to either rent one of our Prospector Tents; or bring your own tent, camping trailer, camper, or motor home and set it up on one of our secluded camping sites. We have five camping spots available, all equipped with electricity and water hook ups, as well as picnic tables and a fire ring, perfect for an evening bonfire and roasting marshmallows. Surrounded by the nearby dazzling Carpenter Lake, Tyax Lake, Lisa Lake and the abundant Mowson Pond you have the best of wildlife right at your fingertips. The Mule Deer bedding down on the ridge crest will be your campsite neighbor and you will be soothed by the sounds of the river water in the valley below from your own tent or motor home.
Meals and activities are an add-on to this package. You can choose from a wide range of activities from our vast activity list (link to add-on activities page). We have everything from horse-riding, hiking, fishing, bear tracking, star gazing, archery, target shooting and many others. No matter what your holiday requirements from high adrenaline and adventure to relaxing and laid back, we are able to create a package to meet your specific interests and create the ultimate wilderness camping experience for you.
Close to the nearby historical towns of Gold Bridge, Gun Lake, Bralorne and Minto, and the ghost towns of Brexton and Pioneer Mine, our campsites are the perfect location for all your outdoor wilderness activities. With an unlimited number of trails along the South Chilcotin Mountain Park, Big Creek Park, Spruce Lake Park, Gwyneth Lake Park, you'll never run out of options for that ultimate hiking, mountain biking, or fly fishing experience.
On top of all of this, if you wish to experience a taste of the Western-Style lifestyle, we also have an array of cowboy/wrangler activities you can choose from. Enjoying the breathtaking scenery is just the beginning, you can learn from the wranglers how to pack a horse, how to throw a diamond hitch, how to stake and hobble the horses and perhaps do some bare back riding to make it a truly unique and educational experience. The diversity of our adventures means a myriad of possibilities for you to choose from.
